to our beloved social and co-creative bunch of open-minded individuals. At burns, we are a medium-sized camp with around 30-40 people maximum capacity. Why are you so small, you might wonder? To create an intimate experience and get to know the group better. We are looking for similarly open-minded people who would love to get into deeper connection. No sparkle ponies please! It is a growing camp with the ability to bring the highest burn standards to the playa and because of the size, every single hand is needed.
Are you new to burns? Everyone is welcome as long as they are willing to contribute and have the same open mindset to respect each other. Join us and grow with us

We are open minded, queer, interested in bringing s+ activities into our daily life. Samewise we would love to grow as a deeply connected camp. All nationalities, genders and contributors are welcome. Please write us an e-mail to info@temple-of-kali.com to introduce yourself to us. Our main language is English, regarding to the different nationalities we have in the camp.

Types Of Members
The Temple of Kali is exciting!
A Lot of people are ignited by the ideas and our beautiful togetherness under the 12 principles.
The foundation of it is trust and appreciation but furthermore a balance of giving and taking.
Because we would like to grow in a healthy way, we want to take time to get to know everyone as a person who wants to be a member of the Temple.
Everyone outside the Temple visiting our events and productions is called a Visitor.
How to get involved
Every now and then you will find a call for participation for a certain event.

An experienced Temple member (longer part than a year) is doing an interview with you. We want to get to know you and talk about the community, the opportunities and skills you can offer in service.
Even if someone from the temple knows you already, the interview makes sense to cross check the fitting.
If both sites agree, we can do the first event together.
You are a Guest now. The preparation and the event itself is the opportunity to check if you would like to be a member of the Temple.
As Guest we support you with a Mentor. This experienced Temple member will help you with questions about Kali, our structure or burner culture in general. Your mentor should be an unknown person and not the friend who broughts you.
You need to be part of at least one burn the Temple attends as a Camp before we talk about long term membership. You can do as many events as you like as a Guest. No need to commit further. We appreciate you!
If you want to be a long term member please let us know.
After the burn and a decom time we will review our adventure. Maybe another call is needed for it.
Both sides agree? Nice, you can start as a novice now. That's your first year as a member of Kali.
After one year of exploring and building the beautiful temple together you are a member of the temple of Kali.
Want even more?
There are senior Temple members who are dedicated and spend time all year round with Kali administration. The can be asked to set up a new “production”
This containstask like:
Herder for bringing the ppl together, setting up Calls, and proposing meetings every now and then.
Storage management- we possess a lot of things. A LOT! That needs to be stored, inventorised or maintained.
Homepage, Email, Social Media work.
Finance Centrale- the all year round bank account we have to cover our costs.
